About the Fort Bend Museum
The Fort Bend Museum opened its doors in 1972 and is owned and operated by the Fort Bend History Association, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to sharing and preserving Fort Bend County history.
The Fort Bend Museum is open Tuesday-Saturday from 9AM – 5 PM
Make Memories at the George Ranch Historical Park!
The George Ranch Historical Park opened in 1988 as an educational partnership between The George Foundation and the Fort Bend History Association. Known as one of the living history museums, the Park features four historic home sites: the 1830s Jones Stock Farm, 1860s Ryon Prairie Home, 1890s Davis Victorian Mansion and 1930s George Ranch Home and Cattle Yard.
Adventure Aboard LEX
The best adventures happen when you aren’t staring at a screen. Step into history aboard the USS Lexington Naval Museum. Here you can learn all about LEX and her 40 years in service as a real WWII aircraft carrier, test your tactical skills and knowledge, and see how naval teams worked, lived and fought together. Exciting for all ages, there’s something for everyone right here on the water in Corpus Christi, Texas.
