Arts Performances, Workshops, and After-School Programs!

Young Audiences of Houston is a Texas nonprofit that has been serving the greater Houston region since 1956. We offer arts-in-education programs in dance, music, theatre, storytelling, puppetry, digital media, and visual arts for youth grades PK-12.

What type of program is right for me?

There are many ways for your students to participate in creative art-making and/or see a live performance. Here are some broad categories:

  • Performance: For a student assembly, an engaging live performance with professional performing artists
  • Workshop: Hands-on art-making session with a professional artist
  • Residency: A professional artist works with the same group of students over several sessions/days.

Where do we serve?

We work with partners all across the greater Houston region in Harris county, 7 surrounding counties, and 51 surrounding school districts. The best part? We come directly to YOU. These are just some of the types of places we visit:

  • Schools (Public, Private, Charter, Early Childhood Centers)
  • Hospitals
  • Libraries
  • Community Centers
  • Juvenile Detention Centers
  • Public Parks
  • Other Public Venues
